Mohammed Rifat Amin Ryhan
Mr. Rifat is currently working full time as Programme Director of Bangladesh Institute of Management Studies (BiMS). He has completed his MBA from the University of Dhaka in 2005. Prior that he completed his B.Com (Hon’s) and M.Com. He began his career at BiMS in 2005. Later he had worked in one of the leading financial institutes of the country. He has outstanding experience in General Banking, Investment and Foreign Trade Division. He has participated in several business and financial workshops and trainings. Mr. Rifat is an approved trainer of world renowned Heriot-Watt University, UK. He has also attended a number of workshops organised by Heriot-Watt University, UK and Pearson/Edexcel, UK.
Mr. Rifat again joined BiMS in 2010 as he has a great passion towards teaching. Mr. Rifat has taught numerous undergraduate and post graduate courses including Human Resources Management, Bangladesh Labour Law, Employment Law, Corporate Finance, Management Accounting and Islamic Banking. Mr. Rifat is one of the most dedicated, successful and consistent trainers working at BiMS.
M. Ezazul Haque
Mr. Ezazul is a self-motivated, energetic and young professional with in-depth industry experience. He is passionate about Supply Chain Management sector. He has a vast knowledge on Supply Planning, Purchasing and Commercial, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution and Customer Service etc. He acquires phenomenal expertise in logistics. As a management researcher with a strong aspiration, he wants to advance his position in the work force and expand his knowledge and skills with a practical approach. Mr. Ezazul is Manager – Category Supply Planning and Purchase of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited. He is also the Supply Chain Management Programme Consultant at BiMS.
Mr. Ezazul has obtained his MBA (Major in Marketing) from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He has participated in specialised training in International Trade, Handling/Processing of L/C, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory and Warehouse Management and Internal Auditing. He started his career as Executive (Purchase, Materials Department) with Apollo Hospitals Ltd. Mr. Ezazul also worked as Senior Executive of Strategy Design Department at Rahim Afrooz Bangladesh Limited.
Gazi Munir Uddin
After achieving BBA and MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka, Mr. Munir started his career with Lusaka Group. Later he joined A.K. Khan & Co. Ltd. as Manager (Acting Head) and Chevron Bangladesh as Senior Manager of Employee Relations Specialist. Now he is working as Group Head of Human Resources and General Management at M & J Group. With his skill and knowledge he has obtained more than 14 years of experiences in HR and GM in garments sector and various groups of companies. He also possesses a tremendous academic career. Mr Munir. has worked as Assistant Professor at American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB). He has also taught HRM & Marketing major courses of MBA programmes in many universities - East West University, Dhaka; Leading University, Sylhet; Metropolitan University, Sylhet; North-East University, Sylhet; State University of Bangladesh, Dhaka; City University, Dhaka; IBAIS University, Dhaka; Northern University Bangladesh (NUB), Dhaka; and University of Asia Pacific (UAP), Dhaka.
Mr. Munir has published a number of articles in national and international journals. Some of his exclusive publications on HRM and Management are as follows:
i) “The challenges and prospects of effective HR outsourcing for the managerial activities in the corporate world of Bangladesh.”
ii) “Managerial Ethics: Evidence and Analysis in the context of Bangladesh Corporate world.”

S.M. Tanzil Aslam
Mr.Tanzil has completed MBA from University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) with Magna Cum Laude Award. He has received his Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Association of Business Practitioners (ABP), UK. Mr. Tanzil has comprehensive knowledge on Supply Chain Management. Using different methodologies, he gained brilliant skill in presentation. He is an excellent speaker on Supply Chain Management, Procurement – Negotiation, Administration, Logistic, Corporate VAT & Tax, Corporate Communication, Team building – Leadership, Customer Support etc. At present he is working as Assistant Manager of Admin & Procurement at SGS Bangladesh Limited.
Mohammed Shafiqul Islam
Mr. Shafiq is one of the recognised SCM professionals of Bangladesh His experience is over 10 years in Supply Chain field with leading organisations both as a professional and consultant. He has received MBA degree in Supply Chain Management and BSc. in Computer Science Engineering. He has worked for some foreign organisations including GETCO Digital Limited, PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, UK), Ernst & Young etc. Before this, he worked in BSRM Group & Leverage Info Tech. Mr. Shafiq has a versatile experiences in different industry verticals e.g., Software, Agro, Chemicals, Cosmetics, Textile and Apparels, Micro-Finance, Telecom, Edible Oil, Consumer Products, Distribution and Service industry etc.
Mr. Salim is a certified Chartered Accountant under Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He gained his membership in January 2017. He has completed his BSc. (Hon’s) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK.
Mr. Salim is currently working as Financial Accountant at Chevron Bangladesh. Before that he worked as Financial Analyst in the same company. Mr. Salim started his career in MGH Group in 2009 as Financial Executive and ended his tenure in that company as Assistant Finance Manager. After leaving MGH group, he worked as senior lecturer at BiMS.
He has experience of no less than 7 years in different specialism of finance including Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Feasibility Plan, Project Cost Management, Internal auditing etc. He is an experienced and young trainer. He has sincere passion for teaching Finance and Internal Auditing.
Maj. Hafiz Al Asad
Mr. Hafiz is an idealistic management professional with more than 16 years of experiences in Bangladesh Army and Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He holds an exceptional academic background: Executive MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka; BSc. in Civil Engineering from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). He got his Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management from Association of Business Practitioners (ABP), UK; Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM™) certification from ISCEA, U.S.A. He worked in more than 20 national mega projects such as Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project (PMBP), Meghna Bridge Project, Hatirjhil Project, etc. He has also worked with several pharmaceutical and construction projects budgeting $3500 million. He has experienced working in international environment like United Nations (UN).
Shirin Akter Koly
Ms. Shirin has completed her BBA and MBA from University of Dhaka. She had the privilege to receive scholarship for her extraordinary BBA result. For both of her SSC and HSC results, she was awarded scholarships by Dhaka Board. She has worked for Trust Bank Limited, Bangladesh. She has over 6 years of training experience in different fields such as Business Analysis, Company Law and Operations Management. She has the potential to create effective training programmes. Ms. Shirin is a very dedicated towards her work.
Md. Ashraf-Uj-Jaman Hero
At present Mr. Ashraf is working as both Manager (Administration) and Faculty Member at BiMS. He has completed MBA (major in Finance) from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in 2015. Before that, he studied ACCA at London College of Accountancy, London UK. He has also completed Higher National Diploma in Accounting (HND) with Merit from Edexcel, UK.
Mr. Ashraf’s career began in the year 2008 as Assistant Lecturer at BiMS. Then at the time of the stay in London he worked as Executive at Sports direct, London, UK and later as Supervisor at Primark, London, UK.
Mr. Ashraf is an approved tutor of world renowned Heriot-Watt University, UK. Mr. Ashraf has taught numerous undergraduate and post graduate courses including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Auditing, Internal Auditing, Business & Company Law and Financial Reporting.
In his work environment at BiMS, he performs various responsibilities such as impart teaching of Business & Finance courses; plan and prepare lessons; develop strategies to deal with classroom behaviour; analyse a range of interactive teaching methods to enhance learning; monitor learning through a range of assessment techniques. He has also successfully completed Internal Verification and System Verification of Higher Diploma in Accounting, SQA.
Syed Masud Mahmood
With more than 10 years of practical experience in the leading Telco Grameenphone, Mr Masud has been a Faculty Member at BiMS since last four semesters. He joined Grameenphone in 2006 and currently has been playing the role of Leadership Development Manager. In the meantime he served in different functions of HR namely- Training & Development, Talent Acquisition & Employer branding, HR Policy & IR, HR Analytics & HRIS, HR Shared Services, OHS & Admin subsequently. He has also worked in different local & global projects for the organisation- Management trainee program in GP & Telenor India, Telenor Youth Forum, Competency framework, GP e-Learning tools, GPHOUSE project etc. He has done his BBA from North South University majoring in Finance & Marketing and completed his MBA majoring in HR from East West University. He is also one of the alumni of BiMS PGDHRM (ABP UK). Currently he has been engaged in different HR forums which connects local & MNCs HR leaders.
Ms Tania has been working as Faculty Member at BiMS since 2014. Majoring in Human Resource Management, she has completed her MBA from International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) with a brilliant result. She has finished her BBA with double major in Finance and Marketing from Jahangirnagar University. Ms Tania has worked at Unitrend Limited. She has attended many training and workshops. She has extensive experience in team management and leading. She has a passion for writing scripts for documentary. At BiMS, her responsibilities involve assessment planning, design, and student evaluation. She likes to engage actively in class discussions and encourage academic debates. Apart from working at BiMS, she is involved in a non-profit educational institution which supports orphans and underprivileged ones. Some of her research works/areas are as follows:
