Mohammed Rifat Amin Ryhan

Mr. Rifat is the Programme Director of Bangladesh Institute of Management Studies (BiMS). He completed his MBA from the University of Dhaka in 2005. Prior that he completed his B.Com (Hon’s) and M.Com. In 2005, he started his career at BiMS. In 2006, he joined one of the leading financial institutes of the country. He has experience in General Banking, Investment, and Foreign Trade Division. He attended numerous financial and business workshops and training. Mr. Rifat again joined BiMS in 2010 as he has a great passion towards teaching. Since then he has been working at BiMS full time as Programme Director. Mr. Rifat is an approved trainer of world renowned Heriot-Watt University, UK. Mr. Rifat has taught numerous undergraduate and post graduate courses including Human Resources Management, Bangladesh Labour Law, Employment Law, Corporate Finance, Management Accounting, Islamic Banking Courses. Mr. Rifat is one of the most successful and ‘consistent’ trainers working at BiMS. He has also attended several workshops organised by Heriot-Watt University, UK and Pearson/Edexcel, UK.

M. Ezazul Haque

M. EZAZUL HAQUE is a self-motivated, energetic and young professionals with in-depth industry experience. He is passionate about Supply Chain Management sector. He has phenomenal expertise in logistics. He is a management researcher with a strong aspiration to advance his position in the work force to expand his knowledge and skills, with a practical approach to performance. Mr. Haque is Manager – Category Supply Planning & Purchase of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited. He has a vast knowledge on Supply Planning, Purchasing and Commercial, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution & Customer Service etc. He is also the Supply Chain Management Programme Consultant at BiMS.

Mr. Haque has earned his MBA (Major in Marketing) from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He has participated in specialised training in International Trade, Handling/Processing of L/C, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory and Warehouse Management and internal auditing.

He had started his career with Apollo Hospital Ltd. as Executive (Purchase, Materials Department), Mr. Haque also worked at Rahim Afrooz Bangladesh Limited, as Senior Executive of Strategy Design Department.


Gazi Munir Uddin

After achieving BBA & MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka, Mr. Munir started his career with Lusaka Group and later he joined A.K. Khan & Co. Ltd. as Manager (Acting Head) and Chevron Bangladesh as Senior Manager of Employee Relations Specialist. At Present he is working as group head of Human Resources & General Management at M&J Group. He has more than 14 years of experiences in HR & GM in garments sector and various groups of companies. He has also a tremendous academic career. He has performed as assistant professor of American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB). He has also taught HRM & Marketing major courses of MBA programmes in many universities like a) East West university, Dhaka; b) Leading University, Sylhet; c) Metropolitan University, Sylhet; d) North-East University, Bangladesh; e) State University of Bangladesh; f) City University of Bangladesh; g) IBAIS University; h) Northern University Bangladesh (NUB); and i) University of Asia Pacific (UAP).

He has some unique publications on HRM and Management ground like i) “The challenges and prospects of effective HR outsourcing for the managerial activities in the corporate world of Bangladesh”, ii) “Managerial Ethics: Evidence and Analysis in the context of Bangladesh Corporate world “, iii) “The challenges of effective managerial skills in the corporate world of Bangladesh”, iv) “Work status analysis in context of Bangladesh Corporate Sector”. These articles were published in national and international journals.


S.M. Tanzil Aslam

S.M. Tanzil Aslam is a passionate learner in the area of Business Studies. He is an MBA from University of liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) with Magna Cum Laude Award. He received his Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Association of Business Practitioners (ABP), UK. Mr. Aslam has comprehensive knowledge on Supply Chain Management. He has exceptional presentation skills with different styles. He is an excellent speaker on Supply Chain Management, Procurement – Negotiation, Administration, Logistic, Corporate VAT & Tax, Corporate Communication, Team building- Leadership, Customer Support etc. At Present, he is working as Assistant Manager of Admin & Procurement at SGS Bangladesh Limited.

Mohammed Shafiqul Islam

Mr. Shafiq is one of the recognised SCM professionals of Bangladesh, experienced more than 10 years in Supply Chain field with leading organisations both as a professional and consultant. He has worked for some foreign organizations including GETCO Digital Limited, PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, UK), Ernst & Young etc. Before this, he worked in BSRM Group & Leverage Info Tech. He has received an MBA degree in SCM and BSc (Engineering) in CSE.
Mr. Shafiq has a versatile experiences in different industry verticals e.g., Software, Agro, Chemicals, Cosmetics, Textile & Apparels, Micro-Finance, Telecom, Edible Oil, Consumer Products, Distribution & Service industry etc.


Salim Saifullah-Al-Ahsan

Mr Salim Saifullah-Al-Ahsan is a certified chartered accountant under Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He gained his membership in January, 2017. He completed his BSc. (Hon’s) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK.

Since 2012, Mr. Salim is working in Finance department of Chevron Bangladesh (a leading oil and gas company based in USA). He is currently working as Financial Accountant in Chevron Bangladesh. Before that he worked as Financial Analyst in the same company. Mr. Salim started his career in MGH Group in 2009 as Financial Executive and ended his tenure in that company as Assistant Finance Manager after 2.5 years. After leaving MGH group, he worked as senior lecturer at Bangladesh Institute of Management Studies (BiMS).

He has experience of no less than 7 years in different specialism of finance including Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Feasibility Plan, Project Cost Management, Internal auditing etc. He is an experienced and young trainer. And he has sincere passion for teaching finance and internal auditing.
